When you shoot simulated game drives, you don't know what target might be coming next. It is quite a different challenge to competitive clays. Simulated game days are great fun and are used by many syndicates as a pre-season get together and warm up, but you don't need to have an excuse to try them. In fact many clay shooters enjoy them as an exciting alternative to regular clay competitions.
We can offer either a day or a half day of simulated drives for teams of 8 to 18 guns. The drives vary in height and the degree of cover to simulate a variety of shooting situations and species of game. We even have a rabbit drive and walked up grouse for teams wishing to try something a bit different.
Typically our full day will consist of 3 drives in the morning and a further 2 drives in the afternoon with a total of 2500 clays put over 10 guns. A sixth drive to make up a 3000 clay day is an option. Refreshments are provided over the course of the day and lunch is supplied by an award winning local pub.
Simulated game days are only suitable for experienced shots, due to the random nature of the targets and several people shooting at once. We can however accommodate some less experienced shots within a team by having them accompanied by one of our instructors. Please contact us for more details.
